Background: I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1974, earning
my Bachelor of Science degree. After graduating from college, I began teaching and coaching football at my former high school
in Charleston, South Carolina, and remained there for several years. Following a short stint in retail sales, I entered Nova
University Law School in 1983 and graduated in the spring of 1987, receiving my Juris Doctor. Since graduation I have practiced
law, working mostly as a sole practitioner in Jacksonville, Florida, before opening my current office with my associates. Areas of Practice: Bankruptcy (Chapters 7 & 13), Criminal (DUI, traffic, felony, misdemeanor,
juvenile); Domestic (all phases of domestic and family law); Probate and Guardianship; Estate Planning; Civil Litigation;
Personal Injury; Medical Malpractice; Real Estate (foreclosures, deeds, agreements, and closings); Collection; Corporations,
and Social Security Disability.
Experience: I have been practicing law since 1987. My experience includes numerous
jury trials for various criminal and civil cases, both in circuit and county courts, as well as federal court. Also, I have
litigated numerous non-jury trials regarding probate, family law, traffic, and juvenile dependency cases. I have tried cases
through the administrative processes, including arbitration, unemployment hearings, and department of motor vehicle review
hearings. I have negotiated settlements in personal injury cases, as well as family law cases, whether through court ordered
mediation or private mediation. I previously worked as a Public Defender for approximately two years, and have practiced in
the State of Florida as a sole practitioner in the areas of family law, criminal law, civil litigation and personal injury.
I am currently acting as the Special Magistrate for the City of Green Cove Springs, Code Enforcement Division.

Association of Criminal Lawyers; Jacksonville Bar Association; Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Authorized to practice
in the Circuit and County Courts of Florida, Supreme Court of Florida, U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Military
Appeals. Active Member in the Elks; Green Cove Springs City Merchants Association, Green Cove Springs Charter Review Committee;
as well as active in numerous charities and events.
